Working on the web can be a LOT OF WORK. It is tough to time-manage, be productive and be creative.
I was quoted on the article – my tip to be a successful web worker bee is simple:
Success Comes In CANS, Failure comes in CAN’Ts.
Be a “can doer.” Sometimes web workers don’t have the luxury of spinning their work chair around and asking for help. The secret to web workers working anywhere and succeeding comes from a can-do attitude and a desire to solve problems independently.
The phrase that saved me from losing my worker bee stinger all these years is worth sharing. When I didn’t know how to do something, I say:
I don’t know, but let me see what I can find out.
