For those of you Mac lovers out there who may be wondering how to sync up your lives, Google has made keeping your calendars in order easier! Google announced yesterday that iCal can now be integrated with Google Calendar. What does this mean, if you use iCal? You can work offline, sync quickly with your Google calendars, and stay on track in one location! There’s even an easy setup program, so it doesn’t take an IT degree to get up and running.
Does this step on the toes of Apple’s MobileMe? Maybe, maybe not. MobileMe has advanced functionality, but is known for the bugs that have plagued it since it’s release… however, most of these (as of the moment, knock on wood!) have been addressed by Apple’s team. MobileMe does allow push and sync services and allows users to work in programs they may already be using, and if you had a .mac membership, you automatically have a MobileMe account. But Google is free, and now offers similar functionality, and the Gmail interface has long been able to handle multiple accounts and easy mobile access.
Whether you’re on a Mac or PC, using Google, MobileMe, a Microsoft Exchange Server, or another solution, the web marketing therapy comment of the day is stay synced! Take the time to arrange your programs, your email, and your calendar so that they all work for you. Develop a system that fits your needs, and take advantage of technology to make your life easier.

Amber- thanks for sharing the great news!! I am so stoked because I use Google calendar all of the time. I am a Mac girl but I gave up on my mobile/.mac account me a couple of months ago because it was way too buggy and did not sync well with other apps. I am so stoked

FYI – it took me 30 seconds to setup. Thanks again Amber! Sharing is caring
