Beware of catching today’s recession-fueled, greed-tapping, delusional perception of the web.
–This has become the equivalent of the “Swine Flu” for desirous Web Entrepreneurs.
Who doesn’t want to make money while sleeping or frolicking on the beach? It all sounds dreamy. But, it often becomes the lure for unhealthy, poorly planned businesses.
As our WMT’s Web Expert, Marketer/Speaker, Lorrie Thomas shared with me today, “More people are coming to me who have learned painful lessons. They’ve spun their wheels, spent their money on empty promises, and now need rescuing.”
All of us at WMT have encountered people who have become victims of what looked initially like great web development or marketing deals.
The recession is certainly an important time to RE-THINK, MAXIMIZE and INNOVATE. But, don’t fall prey to get-rich-quick schemes that have become more pervasive and compelling than ever. (See Seth’s blog on the same get-rich-quick topic.)
Remember, just like good health, there is no easy escape from the basics needed to create a thriving business life on the web.
All businesses need to market and communicate 3 critical components for success: quality product, customer service, and customer enthusiasm with valuable relationship building. It’s important to have a realistic and knowledgeable understanding of how the web can greatly maximize these components. With knowledge, guidance and support, you can exponentially build your business with growing web presence and sales power!
Rather than SPENDING, we believe in INVESTING in your web capital. With the right foundation and attention, you can wisely invest in your web health and wealth!
