Suffer from Social Media Overwhelm?  Yeah, I do too sometimes.  But there is hope…social media just got easier!

My new addiction - Twitter Search!

If you want to see what is going in twitter right now (because everything with the web is right now!) just go to twitter search, type in a:

–Subject/Topic
–Twitter Alias (I searched myself @webtherapist)
–Name (company, person, celebrity)

Then viola!  You get the lastest, greatest twitter scoop.

I am able to see who is re-tweeting my posts, comments that are said about my company, and quickly check in on my favorite tweeple.

I use Twitter Search to connect with other people I want to follow by searching for topics/subjects I am interested in.

Could Twitter Search be a threat to Google?   Hmmmmm……..   :)

Never a threat to Google. Besides its easy enough to mashup a greasemonkey metasearch.

Google got stung buying the heavy weight on server format search engine aka YouTube. I can’t see a reason to shell out for Twitter even if the owners were up for selling.
Google already indexes a surface level - which will get deeper and deeper as Twitter develop their alogorithms!

But yes Twitter is Brilliant resource to add to your search toolbox!!
