Phrase of the Day: “Chicken Salad”

What does chicken salad have to do with your brand? In the prophetic words of a former marketing instructor “If you try to make a chicken salad using chicken sh*t, you just end up with chicken sh*t.”

While it is important to control costs, you don’t want weak branding to end up “costing you.”

For instance, a $99 stock logo on a generic website template using photos from your “happy snappy” aren’t going to make much of an impression to a potential customer … at least not in a positive way.

Also, spend the time and energy to really figure out who your customer is and what makes your service or product unique. This will make sure you have the right foundation for all your other branding efforts.

I know it’s hard work, but that’s why they call it therapy!

Well said, woMAN! It’s dangerous to discount the hard work that goes into logo design – but it’s an easy mistake to make since you pros make is look so easy!
