“Imagination is more important than knowledge.

Knowledge is limited.

Imagination encircles the world.”

-Albert Einstein

Possession of all the knowledge in the world is not enough.  Instead use your imagination and creativity as a guide because many rules as we know them no longer apply.

This quote is NOT an excuse to throw the books down and stop learning.

Creativity without brains is a painting in the attic, when it should be on your website or posted to a blog.

And brains without creativity is a printed newsletter being snail mailed to customers instead of being emailed to your target market and also repurposed on your blog and on your Facebook fan page.

Use your brains, knowledge, expertise, and VALUE to creatively teach and educate your audience that you are the right service /product/ organization for them.

Good info. But perhaps your ‘imagination’ should include the consumers who prefer to actually read (print in hand) their information. Not arguing the email route. Heck, I use it as well. But print AND email newsletters make sure your message gets through to everyone… not just to clients you assume want everything delivered digitally.

Thank you David! You bring up a very good point, if your target customers prefer to receive the newsletter in print format, then listen to their needs and send them a print newsletter. Sometimes it’s easy and all you have to do is just ask your customers what they want or need.

Funny, I’m convincing myself again and again that Albert Einstein is the pioneer that opened the door to a much bigger and more sophisticated world.

I think that the newer generation prefers to receive everything electronically. I hate getting flyers in the mail, while I enjoy having an actual copy of something in my hand, I don’t like the carbon foot print it leaves behind. I really hope someday soon we have a paperless society.
