Open wide for a web marketing therapy spoonful of marketing medicine!
Getting better results is simple – HELP PEOPLE HELP YOU.
Yep, that’s it. That’s the medicine. It is always the simple things in marketing that we overlook when trying to get the results we want.
Case in point:
You want someone to sign a contract you sent to them a few weeks ago and you have not had a reply. You reply and follow up, but you neglect to re-attach the contract to the new email so the person has to go into their files and find it (the likelihood is they are busy and won’t!)
The more you require somebody to do, the LESS LIKELY you are to make the sale.
If you have a call with a marketing partner, send a follow up email with a call recap and your contact info to help them help you.
If you have a meeting, send a reminder 30 minutes before with the call in # and an agenda.
If you want feedback on something, do all the legwork you can on your end first then go to the table with clearly communicated facts, bullets and be ready to get straight to the subject at hand.
If you are on a call, resend the email you sent a while back so it’s at the top of somebody’s inbox.
If you drive traffic to your website via online advertising, make it easy for people to contact you or receive help from you.
THINK.
Think customer service, think value, think convenience (for your prospective client, not you!), and be prepared to do some legwork to get what you want. It’s simple, easy and your pocketbook will thank you for it!
