The Wild Web Women at Web Marketing Therapy were on a team meeting call last week and Emilia Doerr, our Client Treatment Specialist mentioned that our team Twitter Page, @webmarketing_rx was in need of a vanity makeover.
I’m glad she spoke up, the old page looked pretty amateur. Emilia called the Emperor (me!) on having bad Twitter clothes! HA! So in the name of getting things done, Nicki Gauthier reached out to a web design lifeline and asked for help…
Kate McMillan, our Web Design Wonkette, came to the makeover rescue and pimped our team Twitter page so it looked cool, had a link to our website and matched our site.
Ahhhhhh
It’s ok to be vain with your web marketing, especially social media. Tools like Twitter are a voice for your organization and APPEARANCES MATTER.
Signs of depression often = lack of concern for personal appearance (fact!)
I think that being a brand snob is a very healthy sign of marketing commitment and desire to thrive!
If you need WMT to pimp your Twitter page, contact us.
Embrace your inner social media narcism :) Be vain, we support you!

Love it! Great twitter visuals and brand consistency for @webmarketing_rx !
You know what they say about someone who is a label whore when it comes to clothes….they look great in what they wear! I guess that makes me a brand whore, as I am all about brand appearances! Consistency totally breeds trust with a brand, and investing into making your twitter look great and feel great like your website is a MUST!
I’m not saying it all has to be designer brands, I’m saying that whatever a brand says in one place, it should say the same message in another - both online and offline.
What’s wrong with a clear message & vision? Nothing!
Go girls! I’ll be following your tweets on your fabulous looking twitter

Thanks Amber! I am loving the brand whore analogy but it’s TRUE - on the web, we have to wear good clothes!! Impressions matter….if you don’t build your own brand, it will be built for you!
Thanks for your social media savvy post. We love your work and thank you for being a wild web sister!
