Shrek drops web marketing knowledge:

judge me before they even know me.”

This is a sad but true quote. People do judge you before they know you which means people judge a business service or product before they know or use it.
This is also a huge wake up call to business owners that still have a web design from the 90’s with no marketing plan. Potential customers are visiting your website, blog, linkedin profile, facebook, or twitter account and judging your business before they even know you! Are you taking full advantage of the web to maximize opportunities and increase sales? The answer should be W.I.P. (work-in-process), because the web is constantly changing which means your web marketing strategy is constantly in “edit mode” to evolve with the web.

Nicki- that is so true. Even if you have many layers that run deep like an onion (We can learn so much from Shrek!), people will never see that if they can’t get past their initial web impression of you. Great reminder to make sure what we put out to the web isn’t just a big ugly stupid ogre.
