The wild web woman team has been doing a TON of online PR work with our expert clients. Although we are in the business of helping professionals not be dangers to themselves and others with un-healthy marketing we discovered that are also in the business of making people weblebrities!
So, she-geek word of the week (to bust out at a cocktail party, in an office meeting, whenever)
WEBLEBRITY: A portmanteau of “web celebrity”. Any one, or thing who has achieved some level of fame or notoriety through the internet. (What would we do without Urban Dictionary?)
We dig David Armano, VP of Experience Design wtih Critical Mass and we really dug his super-coolio post on the Top 10 Signs You Might Be A “Weblebrity”
Like Armano says, if you are getting professional headshots for your Facebook or Profnet profile, you may on track to be on the virtual weblebrity A-list
