The Online Support Group For Mom Entrepreneurs
We just can’t get enough of Traci Bisson lately. She is the savvy blogger behind the popular Mom Entrepreneur - a site dedicated to helping women balance being a mother and running a business!
She knows firsthand what it’s like to be a mom entrepreneur. In addition to her intelligent and authentic site for working moms, she has her hands full raising two children and growing her own public relations firm, Bisson Barcelona. Her story is inspiring and probably one many of us can relate to:
Eight weeks after I returned from maternity leave, the company where I had been employed for five years went out of business. I decided to try doing my own thing and failed miserably. After another year of working for two different companies (the first laid off the department I worked in and the other was showing signs of going under), I decided to try entrepreneurship again.
On her site, she offers tips, resources and most importantly, online solidarity for mom entrepreneurs everywhere. She is currently running a great series featuring 30 amazing women who are great positive role models who have started their businesses in this crappy economy and are “making lemonade from lemons.”
