Rubin Takes First Place!

Rubin Takes First Place!

The results are in and congratulations to Hubspot TV’s Karen Rubin !  Karen placed first in the Wild Web Women Social Media Marketing “Girl Crush” poll with a whopping 44.2% of the vote followed by Ann Handley of MarketingProfs with a not so distant 37.8%.

Biggest Marketing Girl Crushes on Women in Social Media is a tribute to the enormous contributions to the world of Social Media and Web Marketing that have been made by women. After asking our LinkedIn community of Wild Web Women, we compiled an elite list of talented and outstanding marketing entrepreneurs who have contributed so much to our industry- and who we try to emulate in our own careers (hence, the “Girl Crush”). It is also a follow up to last February’s Top Marketing Man Crushes (our marketing crush on Guy Kawasaki even got his attention!)

Thank you to Karen and Ann (and all of our top crushes) for being such great sports and having fun with our poll!  And a very special thank you to everyone who voted!   I regret that so many incredible talents were not included in our list- but want you to know that everyone who works to bring value and education to Web marketing is noticed and appreciated!
