Thank you Steve Jobs. You were a passionate leader, innovator, and an inspiration to us all.
Motivational quotes from Steve Jobs. Remembering a brilliant man.
~ “Sometimes when you innovate, you make mistakes. It is best to admit them quickly, and get on with improving your other innovations.”
– Businessbrief.com
~ “Click. Boom. Amazing!”
– Macworld keynote 2006 via MacStories.net
~ “Do what you love to do. Find your true passion. Make a difference. The only way to do great work is to love what you do.”
– Businessbrief.com
~ “Start small, think big. Don’t worry about too many things at once. Take a handful of simple things to begin with, and then progress to more complex ones. Think about not just tomorrow, but the future. Put a ding in the universe.”
– Businessbrief.com
~ “Be entrepreneurial. Look for the next big thing. Find a set of ideas that need to be acted upon quickly and decisively and jump through that window. Sometimes the first step is the hardest one. Just take it. Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.”
- Businessbrief.com
~ “That’s not what we think design is. It’s not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works”
– New York Times, The Guts of a New Machine, 2003
~ “Quality is more important than quantity. One home run is much better than two doubles.”
– Businessweek
~ “Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”

Nicki, this is such an appropriate and timely tribute to Steve Jobs. I teared up reading this. These quotes really sum up who Jobs was, his values and his visionary talent.
Steve Jobs embodied true entrepreneurial spirit. He succeeded, he failed, he staged a huge comeback and executed beyond what was thinkable.
I type this staring at my big Mac monitor that is plugged into my Macbook Pro as my iPod is charging off my computer from iTunes…to look at my use of Apple products now versus when I was elementary school in the computer lab on my Apple 2E….
Jobs touched so many people, his inspirational spirit will live on. Nicki, thank you for this post.

You’re welcome Lorrie! Thank you for leaving a comment!
I am sitting at the Coffee Cat and the majority of the people are on a Mac or using an Apple product (me included.) Steve Jobs was a design guru – a true genius – and he will be missed.

Another of my favorite’s is :
“Be a yardstick of quality. Some people aren’t used to an environment where excellence is expected.” -Steve Jobs
