“100% of the shots you don’t take don’t go in.”
Tom McGuire, my superstar Program Director of Business & Management (where I teach Search and Social Media classes through UC Berkeley Extension), closes his email signatures with coolio quotes and the one he has in his email signature now (above) was worth sharing.
Sometimes our biggest fear is not moving forward because our shots may not make it. Tom’s quote reminds us that we have to take multiple shots to make the winning shot. Not all shots will be perfect!
Perfectionism can be a debilitating web marketing behavior, as it stunts our ability to take shots. Lack of shooting can leave us in the dust.
