Did I ever tell you that I love Google? Only a million-trillion times! And speaking of a million-trillion, do you have a million-trillion logins and passwords to all of your social media sites? Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, and the list could go on forever. I actually have two spreadsheets FULL of logins and passwords from every shopping site I’ve shopped on to every blog I’ve commented on. Login, logout, login, logout, login, logout, all day long. I am beginning to feel like I’m in some warped web exercise class!
Well!! I have news for you. Google to the rescue … again!
In the works, our best friends at Google are (…drum roll please…) coming out with a new tool for communication and collaboration on the web, called Google WAVE.
I couldn’t say it any better than them, so if you don’t want to read all 44,000,000 SERPs (search engine results pages) for “google wave”, then here goes:
Google Wave is a product that helps users communicate and collaborate on the web. A “wave” is equal parts conversation and document, where users can almost instantly communicate and work together with richly formatted text, photos, videos, maps, and more. GoogleWave is also a platform with a rich set of open APIs that allow developers to embed waves in other web services and to build extensions that work inside waves.
Google wave is coming later this year – and you can sign up to be alerted when this cool-new-tool is available! You bet that I already have! Wave goodbye to all your million-trillion logins – I have a feeling that you’re just gonna need one in the near future!
(Can you hear the chanting in my head: Google! Google! Google! Google! Google! Google!)
