A Fashionable AND Functional Way to Say “Ciao”

Recently I felt the need to “express” myself with a more fashionable email signature–more colors! more branding! more LINKS! I found myself all pumped up for my signature make-over when I realized that Gmail does not offer a built-in program that allows for picture signature files or hyperlinks within my signature! *GASP*

Thus I turned to one of our in-house web designers, Amber Wallace, who suggested WiseStamp. I hadn’t heard of it before but I gave it a go and boy was I impressed!

WiseStamp is a widget you can easily install (literally takes 1.5 minutes) into your Firefox browser and it will appear as a widget on the bottom of your screen:

By clicking on this widget, you can “edit your signature” file with your custom design (you can put in a logo, hyperlinks of websites, blogs, and it even has the social media icons so people can easily add you as a friend on Facebook, follow you on Twitter, or join your LinkedIn network!

And viola! It’s really that simple! The widget automatically applies your customized (and hip-looking) signature file into your email accounts (Gmail, Yahoo, Cox…etc.)

An important part of marketing is branding–looking professional to your clients and potential clients is a vital part to building a successful brand. Having a simple, functional, and yet aesthetically pleasing email signature will remind your email recipients of your brand every time they read your messages. It’s also a great way to drive more traffic to your website since you’re making it easier for people to click through your email signature file!

Instead of having an email signature that looks like this:

    Hi David,

Thanks for your comment! WiseStamp is currently a strictly Firefox widget. You will be able to see the widget using IE but will not be able to edit your signature without Firefox. Hope this answers your question!

I absolutely love WiseStamp! I implemented it a while back on both my personal and business email and now I get so many comments and feedback from people that I wasn’t necessarily trying to market to.

I simply sent them a friendly email regarding something unrelated to Falk Adventures and when they receive the email, they get all curious because at the bottom it says, “Check out our website” with our logo and social sites and voila! I just spread the word to one more person about our exciting little business.

Wei, thanks for keeping us up to date on all the cool little widgets!

    Derek

    Hi Derek!

Thank you for your kind endorsement! The Wild Web Women here all love WiseStamp too and we’ve all implemented it on our email signatures–I think it’s TERRIFIC to add that something extra at the end of emails so that people’s interests are piqued!

We will be sure to keep sharing all of our favorite web tools!

    Virtual hugs!
    Wei
