Are you on LinkedIn? Oh, you are? Well, do you want your name and photo used for third-party advertising? No? Then there’s a box you need to uncheck!
LinkedIn recently did us all the “favor” of automatically granting our permission to have our photos and names used for third-party advertising. I repeat, they automatically granted permission for your name and photo to be used for third-party advertising. If this is something you are not interested in, you need to manually uncheck the box that gives LinkedIn permission.
